This Privacy Policy describes how KARUNA (SARAWAK) ENTERPRISE SDN BHD ("the Company") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our online ticketing platform known as SWIFTIC (hereinafter "the SWIFTIC").
The SWIFTIC offers its customer a platform to book and purchase tickets to the events as posted in its online platform ("the Services")
This Privacy Policy is formulated in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA"), which describes how your personal information is collected and used and your choices with respect to your Personal Data and privacy. For absolute clarity, any reference to "we", "our" or "us" in this Privacy Policy shall include any member of the Company.
In order for the Company to provide you with our Services and to operate in an efficient and effective manner, the Company may need to collect relevant personal information from you either manually or through the SWIFTIC or any other relevant platform. The personal information collected by the Company are for the use of, or subscription to the SWIFTIC's offered by the Company or as requirements of government and its authority.
By accessing and using the SWIFTIC you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the terms and conditions of this policy.

The SWIFTIC websites and electronic applications may contain links to other web sites not maintained or related to SWIFTIC. These websites may have their own privacy statement in place and we recommend that you review those statements if you visit any linked web sites. The Company and/or SWIFTIC shall not be responsible for the contents on the linked sites and/or any use of your personal data by these sites and/or any collection of personal data from you, whether by consent or otherwise
5.1. Your Personal Data shall be stored either in electronic or hard copies in our offices or in servers located in Malaysia.
5.2. We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that personal information in our custody or control is protected against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure. This protection applies in relation to information stored in both electronic and hard copy form. Access to your personal information is restricted to selected employees or representatives only.
5.3. SWIFTIC follows generally accepted information security techniques, such as firewalls, and access control procedures, to protect personal information against loss and unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure.
6.1. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the SWIFTIC, processing payments, or delivering Event on our behalf. These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide the Event and to protect your privacy.
6.2. We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others.
The SWIFTIC is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
8.1. You are given notice that the Event will only be made available to you upon your accepting and expressly consenting to the terms of this Privacy Policy, where such express acceptance and consent shall be evidenced by you clicking or checking or indicating accordingly on the relevant consent portion of the registration forms, purchase forms or such other documents as may be furnished to you.
8.2. By so indicating your acceptance of the term of this Privacy Policy, you shall be deemed to have expressly consented to the processing of your personal data by the SWIFTIC or any of its authorized agents, employees, partners and/or contractors for the Purposes as outlined.
8.3. You hereby agree and accept that by registering and/or continuing to use the Services, you authorize and consent to your personal data being processed by and where required, disclosed to classes of third parties as identified by the SWIFTIC for the purposes of the SWIFTIC providing Event to you. For the avoidance of doubt, you also hereby explicitly consent to the Company processing any sensitive personal data relevant such purposes.
8.4. If required, it may be necessary to transfer your Personal Data to third party Event providers based/located outside Malaysia. By continuing to use the Websites, and/or Event of the SWIFTIC, you hereby consent to such transfer.
9.1. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, you may at any time withdraw your consent to the SWIFTIC processing any personal data of yours or to any part or portion of the same by sending to the SWIFTIC at the address set out below a written notice of withdrawal and within the period prescribed under the PDPA. The SWIFTIC shall take all necessary measures to give effect to your withdrawal of consent, to the extent that such withdrawal does not conflict with any of THE SWIFTIC's other legal obligations.
9.2. If you do not wish to have your personal data shared with any other party, or if you do not wish to be solicited for products or Event offered by THE SWIFTIC or any other parties including third parties, kindly inform THE SWIFTIC in writing at the communication information as given below.
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Under the PDPA, you have the right of access to your Personal Data held by us with request regarding correction of the Personal Data that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or not up-to-date.
12.1. You may update, correct, or delete your account information at any time by accessing your account settings within the SWIFTIC or by contacting us directly.
12.2. You may opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the instructions provided in the communication or by contacting us directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on the SWIFTIC or by other means of communication. Your continued use of the SWIFTIC after the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
