Welcome to the Sarawak International Conference on Ageing (SICA) 2025, organized by the Ministry of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development (KPWK) Sarawak in collaboration with Sarawak Gerontology and Geriatrics Society (SGGS). Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before registering for the event. By completing the registration, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

1. Registration Process
• All delegates must complete the online registration form.
• Registration is confirmed via email only upon completion of full payment.
• Please bring along the email confirmation and present it at the Onsite Registration Counter.
2. Payment Terms
• All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
• Payment must be made via methods specified in the registration portal.
• A confirmation email will be sent to the email provided during registration upon successful payment.
3. Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations must be made in writing and send to KPWK (a copy to SGGS) via the provided contact email : contact@sica2025.com.my.
• No refunds will be given for cancellations or non-attendance at SICA 2025.
4. Delegate Substitutions
• If a registered delegate is unable to attend, they may nominate a substitute at no extra cost. Substitutions are allowed but must notify the organisers at least 10 days before the event with necessary details, including the name and contact details of both the original delegate and the substitute.
• Such requests must be sent to KPWK and a copy to SGGS via the provided email: contact@sica2025.com.my.
5. Event Changes and Cancellation
• KPWK reserves the right to make changes to the event programme, date, venue, or speakers, if necessary.
• In the unlikely event of SICA 2025 being cancelled, delegates will receive a full refund. KPWK is not responsible for any other costs incurred by delegates.
6. Data Protection
• Personal information provided during registration will be used solely for the purpose of organizing and managing SICA 2025.
  KPWK and SGGS will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
7. Liability
• KPWK will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during SICA 2025, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
• Delegates are responsible for their own travel insurance and safety.
8. Intellectual Property
• All materials presented at SICA 2025, including slides, papers, and recordings, are the intellectual property of the respective presenters and KWPK.
• Delegates shall not distribute, reproduce, or use the materials without explicit permission of the respective presenters and KPWK.
9. Photography and Videography
• KPWK may record and photograph parts of SICA 2025 for promotional and archival purposes.
• By attending, delegates grant KPWK the irrevocable right and permission to record, photograph and use of their image, likeness and voice in any form of media, whether now known or hereafter developed, for promotional, marketing, archival, or other lawful purposes related to SICA 2025, without any compensation of further consent.
10. Force Majeure
• KPWK shall not be held responsible for any failure to fulfil its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
11. Governing Law
• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia and Sarawak.
• Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
